Unveiling Saint Joseph’s Church
Along the bustle of Victoria Street, the spires and domes of St Joseph’s Church rise as both architecture and prayer. Crowned by a 20-metre-high belfry, the church has stood for over a century.
Yet behind its weathered walls lay hidden treasures: intricate plasterwork, floral motifs, and statues of saints quietly awaiting rediscovery. What began as a simple renewal became a five-year journey of restoration, marked by the many challenges along the way and the delicate balance of preserving history while embracing modern needs.
Unveiling Saint Joseph’s Church explores this journey, from the careful hands restoring century-old statues to the voices of parishioners who call it home. More than preservation, it is a hymn to resilience, beauty, and enduring faith.
